The Holy Quran (also written as Koran) is the Divine Book revealed to Muhammad who was a prophet of God. Prophet Muhammad ( an Arab and a descendant of Abraham) received these revelations (in Arabic, of course) in the seventh century of the Christian Era. Muslims believe that he is the last Messenger sent by God for the guidance of mankind until the Day of Judgment. The Quran consists of nothing but the revelations of God. The Islam101 site contains English translations of the Quran by Abdullah Yusuf Ali and Muhammad Pickthall.

Prophet Muhammad was born in Makkah, present-day Saudi Arabia around 570 C.E. He is the model for humanity of all walks of life to follow until the Last Hour. God sent him as a mercy for the worlds. You must know this man!

The American Islamic Community Guidelines and Resources are for government, public and private agencies and other commercial entities.
